Bounty Hunter Basics (How to Form Your Bounty Hunting Team)

Last week we talked about what to do in the first 90 days of getting into the business to ensure your success and today I want to expand on that.

One of the most common questions that I'm asked by new agents is 'How do I get bondsmen to give me cases?' I always reply 'What are you going to do once you get a case?' The answer is usually something like 'call you'. Most new agents want to be successful in the bail enforcement business but try to take shortcuts in the steps that will lead them to that success. So, here are a few simple suggestions that will aid in your being a successful bounty hunter.

The first thing a new agent should do is form their bounty hunting team. What would you do right now if I called you and said I have a case for you, go get him now and I will pay you $5,000?(I do get cases like this weekly that I turn down by the way) How are you going to be able to successfully apprehend somebody if your team is not in place? Most agents, especially seasoned ones, work with a team so don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Your team should consist of at least 6 other agents and yourself for a total of 7 agents. Not every one of your team members will be available all of the time, so having a pool of 7 agents to choose from will aid in your being able to adequately conduct the arrest in safe and efficient manner. Where do get your team of six from? Well, I would suggest that you start with your friends and acquaintances that share your like interests.

Make a list of everyone that you know and then begin contacting them about joining your team. Another way to recruit your team members is to post up flyers or advertise for your team. Once the members of your team is selected arrange to have them go through the same training you received. After all, there is only one bail enforcement training organization that I'm aware of that will pay you $1,300 dollars just to form and train your team of six.

How To Make Bounty Hunter BBQ

When I’m not coaching somebody with their business my next favorite thing to do is cooking. I especially love BBQ. I’m a BBQ fanatic! I’m not sure if my friends and family love to stroke my ego, but anyone who has ever tried my BBQ will tell you that its sooo goooood that it will make you wanna smack yo mama!lol Seriously, I’m often told that it’s the best bbq they have ever tasted.

The secret to great tasting bbq is a combination of a few simple steps. They say a good chef never reveals his secrets, but you all know me, I’m not one to ever follow the rules of ‘they’. So he is one of my simple secrets to awesome Bounty Hunter BBQ.
The only ingredients you need are:
1. A slab of lean cut baby back ribs
2. Cain’s BBQ Seasoning (don’t substitute or it won’t taste the same)
That’s it.

After rinsing off your slab of ribs and placing them in the appropriate size baking pan, sprinkle on the Cain’s bbq seasoning moderately on both sides YO. DO NOT USE UR HANDS TO RUB IT IN. Next place it in the oven at 275f for approximately 2 ½ hours uncovered. When 2 ½ hours have passed lightly cover with aluminum foil for another 30 minutes or until meat reaches 165f inside.
That’s it! A very easy way to make bounty hunter bbq that tastes sooo gooood you will wanna smack yo mama.

How To Make A Bounty Hunter Cheese Ball

Cheese balls are great for parties, holidays, business luncheons, or any other occasion that you can think of.

They’re so great because you can make them in advance and they transport easily anywhere. I have even mailed my Bounty Hunter Cheese Ball before.

My bounty hunter cheese ball is very easy to prepare and will be loved by all who try it. You’re sure to be the life of any gathering by taking the bounty hunter cheese ball with a tray of crackers.

All you need to make an awesome bounty hunter cheese ball is:
2 pkgs. Of Philadelphia cream cheese
1 jar of Hormel dried beef
1 bundle of green onions
½ tbsp. of Accent
1 tbsp. of Worchester sauce

First, chop the onions into small pieces and place them into a large mixing bowl. Next, add the Accent (don’t substitute or it won’t taste the same) and the Worchester sauce. Third, chop the dried beef into small chunks and place ¾ of it into the bowl with the other ingredients. Be sure to save some of the dried beef for later, as you will roll the bounty hunter cheese ball in them. Now it’s time to add both packages of Philadelphia cream cheese the rest of your ingredients in the mixing bowl. This is where you get to play with your food with your hands by mixing all of the ingredients together by hand until everything is blended together and begins to form a ball. After your ball is formed roll it around in the remainder of the chopped dried beef. You have just made your very own bounty hunter cheese ball which is for sure to be the talk of the party. Serve with your favorite snack cracker, but for the best flavor, its best to let it refrigerate overnight.

How to Successfully Market Yourself As an Expert Bounty Hunter



Successful marketing is key to the prosperity of any business. Though the concept is simple, its not easy unless you have a concept/strategy. This article will layout a simple marketing strategy that will help you be successful in your business. This will be the first article of a seven part series that will be discussed over a seven week span. So be sure to look for next weeks article that will cover part 2 of How to Successfully Market Yourself As an Expert Bounty Hunter.


1-Storytelling. The "story" in marketing is a key factor in business success. Commercials, TV ads, and shows all tell a story that keeps our attention. Be sincere but exciting with your story. If you need help developing your story get with a marketing executive or a copywriter, they can help you develop your story in a way that will be enticing to your target market.


Your story should be filled with passion. It's the passion that will sell your story to your audience and aid in giving that feeling of connectivity with them. Passion in your story will also make your story believable and relatable.


Define the struggle in your story. Clearly explain what obstacle has been blocking you in your life and how you overcame that obstacle. Make sure that confidence exudes in your triumph over the obstacle. This will add credibility to your story.


2- Now that you have your story created, put it on the backside of a flyer with a wanted picture of the fugitive you are searching for on the front side. After you have your flyer created, go to your local FedEx/Kinko's and print up at least one thousand copies. Next, choose a neighboring state next to your own state that you want to do business in. This is the state that you are going to canvass with your one thousand printed flyers. Distribute your flyers by mail to as many bail bondsmen within your target state as possible. Wait a few days, then get your street team and take a small trip to one of the target cities within your target state and follow up face to face with all of the bondsmen that you previously mailed your flyers to. While visiting the bail bondsmen, be sure to pay a quick visit to all of the local taverns, laundry mats, and trailer parks and distribute flyers in those areas as well.


This is a very simple and effective way to market you as an expert bounty hunter. Again, you should make a 'wanted' flyer with the fugitive on the front and your success story on the back. Be sure to include contact information on both sides of the flyer.
Canvass a neighboring state by the state in which you live with one thousand of your printed flyers. Canvass by mail and follow up with a trip a few days later. Do this and watch your business grow. What You Must Know About *77



YOU MUST KNOW *77


I knew about the red light on cars, but not the *77. It was about 1:00 p.m. In the afternoon, and Lauren was driving to visit a friend. An UNMARKED police car pulled up behind her and put his lights on *Lauren's parents have always told them never to pull over for an unmarked car on the side of the road, but rather to wait until they get to a gas station, etc. *

Lauren had actually listened to her parents advice, and promptly called *77 on her cell phone to tell the police dispatcher that she would not pull over right away. She proceeded to tell the dispatcher that there was an unmarked police car with a flashing red light on his rooftop behind her. The dispatcher checked to see if there were police cars where she and there weren't, and he told her to keep driving, remain calm and that he had back up already on the way.

Ten minutes later 4 cop cars surrounded her and the unmarked car behind her.

One policeman went to her side and the others surrounded the car behind. They pulled the guy from the car and tackled him to the ground. The man was a convicted rapist and wanted for other crimes

I never knew about the *77 Cell Phone Feature, but especially for a woman alone in a car, you should not pull over for an unmarked car. Apparently police have to respect your right to keep going to a safe & quiet place. You obviously need to make some signals that you acknowledge them ( I.e. Put on your hazard lights) or call *77 like Lauren did.

Too bad the cell phone companies don't generally give you this little bit of wonderful information.

*Speaking to a service representative at ** Bell** Mobility confirmed that *77 was a direct link to state trooper info So, now it's your turn to let your friends know about *77.

All it takes for you is one decision. The decision that enough is enough and things are going to start changing for you TODAY. You have taken a great step by joining us but there is still more to do. Right now go to your calendar and write on today's date: "Today is the day that I committed to my business and decided no more excuses."
By doing this you are deciding that:
• failure or quitting are not options
• success is the only acceptable result
• the naysayers and dream stealers will not stand in your way
• you and your family deserve success
DECIDE TO CHANGE YOUR FUTURE AND COMMIT TO BEING THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO!
Write down and review your "WHY" everyday in order to maintain and grow the passion you brought to your business the moment you decided to become a business owner. Others will try to steal your dreams or discourage you, the only thing that will save you will be your "WHY." It will keep you focused on moving forward each day to help you move closer to achieving your personal goals and dreams.
"WHY" you are in this business can and should change as you grow. The bigger your "WHY" the bigger your business will become.
Here are a few examples: "I need to build a college education fund for my kids" or "I want to build a new wing on the children's hospital" or "I need to pay off my car". “I will be debt FREE” and I want the freedom to do what I want, when I want, how I want. I am done with having limitations on when I can take a vacation and will no longer except living pay check to pay check. You can see the difference in the magnitude of each "WHY." However, there is not one "WHY" that is more important than the other. That is because each "WHY", each goal, each dream is yours, it's personal. Identify "WHY" you are doing the business and make sure it is real to you. Don't create your “WHY” based on someone else's expectations, it is yours.
Take some time to clarify your “Why” and write it down. Do it now, it really is that important. Then, immediately put it where you can see it everyday.

I will jump rite into step without recapping the first 3 steps since this one is a bit lengthy compared to the others.

3 Laws of Growing and Development
This is probably the best way to calibrate your growth and to understand the "delayed" effect in your life. This will put our opportunity in the right perspective and allow you to understand the stages you and your people can
and will go through in your career of success.

1) THE LAW OF COMPENSATION:
This simply states that whatever you DO, you will be
directly COMPENSATED for that work that you
put forth. This is commonly known for exchanging your hours
for dollars or working on a particular job. This is why you
will hear a lot of people say that the Definition of J.O.B.
stands for JUST OVER BROKE.

2) THE LAW OF DIMINISHING RETURNS:
The Best way to Describe this is to take a Farmer who during
planting season will plant many seeds for different vegetables
and fruits, but he knows that most growing seasons it takes about
100 Days for a seed to blossom into the thing it was design to be.
You see when you plant one kernel of corn you may receive 10,000
kernels in return a couple of months from now. The same holds true
for you when you are planting "SEEDS" in your own business, you
won't see your prospects immediately pop out of the ground, but
trust me they are brewing and it's just a matter of time before you
have over thousands of contacts worldwide. However, the Key is
that you can't control the Growing Season and when those prospects
will step forward. This is why PATIENCE and your WHY are so
important! Also, remember whatever you do TODAY you will see the
FRUIT of those actions whether GOOD or BAD in the next 90 Days or
so.

3) THE LAW OF DELAYED GRATIFICATION:
This is a Tricky one because we live in such an INSTANT
GRATIFICATION Society, but if we can just understand that anything
worth building and having takes time and "GREAT WORKS"
CAN'T BE RUSHED. What if you were rushed when you were conceived?
Can you imagine what you would like after only 2 days being in your
mother's tummy? The Process of childbirth is about 10 months, and
then the baby still need years to grow and develop into that
awesome human being God intended you to be. Success in life is no
different, but some of us want the success OVERNIGHT. This is not
the lottery or some "Get Rich Scheme" and when things are not
growing as fast as you want, that is your LEARNING TIME. So PLEASE
PLEASE…remain teachable all the time in your development with BEN,
